Books and Writing

I’m the author of four books and the co-editor of one. My writing has also appeared in many anthologies and literary journals. My writing is a mix of the fictional, semi-autobiographical, and fully autobiographical, and I write about gay identity, culture, family, race, childhood, sex, community, dating and more. I loved being a published author and I’m very thankful to my publishers and editors. I was certainly never a big-selling author, but my published books allowed me to get my words and thoughts out into the world, perform and present at lively events, and meet interesting people and kindred souls – both fellow authors and engaging readers.
